Laptop Vs Tablet
What laptop to buy, as an industrial designer?
Hi. I am in school to become an Industrial Designer and I need to find a new laptop because mine is almost non-functional.
I want to find something that can run windows xp and have enough room to put some complex cad rendering programs (solid works, illustrator, alias etc) and still run well. I have a little wacom tablet that i will want to use although i may want to find a tablet pc but am not sure if it is worth it yet (have heard some bad reviews of the capability of these tablets vs cintiq that i have access to at school ). i also want a “full sized” keyboard (no mini computers)
I have heard about the macbook pro running xp well but would like some other options/ opinions. i am not a mac person but that and dell were recommended by my professor
