It is true that this is not the latest model HP black and white laser printer. Even so, it is just as good a value today. The printer can be purchased from a number of sources refurbished and at an economical price. Further cost savings can be gained by using the toner cartridge that outputs a higher volume as your printing costs will go down.
For workgroups with high output that is needed fast, this 4050tn toner is a good option. When you consider how well it performs and the available features it is a bargain compared to some more expensive printers. The only negative is that it does not do duplex printing but unless that is a common need for your office, it is no reason not to purchase this printer.
