Laptop Hp Dv6t Review
Question about HP DV6T quad?
Hi,
1. I am planning to purchase HP DV6T quad edition. It says that it has “15.6″ diagonal High Definition LED HP Brightview Widescreen Display (1366×768)” is this 1080p or 720p? any reviews about this laptop is appreciated
2. Also I was even looking at Dell studio 15 core i7 based processor. Pls let me know whether Dell is good or HP is good. Which one should I go for.

I depends on your budget. If budget is not an issue I recommend the Alienware M15x.
Answer to question:
1. That resolution falls on the 720 category. For the laptop you need to be more detailed on the spec and what are you going to use it for? If you go all out on customizing it on hp’s website it can be a good laptop.
2. Dell studio 15 are good laptops but they tend to overheat quickly due to design flaws of the screen blocking the rear air vents when opened.
It all depends on what your going to use it for. If your going to use it for basic use such as typing documents or searching the web the base spec are good. If your going to use it for professional work such as video editing, Photoshop, web design etc. than go all out. I say keep searching check out Toshiba, Sony, Acer. I say if you only have those two as a choice than I would suggest the Hp computer, because Dell has been having issues about gpu failures on their laptops as of late. When you configuring you laptop on Hp’s site or buying it from the store make sure it has discrete graphics and not an integrated graphics cards. Integrated graphics cards are awful!!!
