Laptop fan?
IBM(Lenovo) T60
i dont hear or feel the internal fan running.
As i keep the laptop on all day i would like the fan to be working well.
Is there any way i can increase the fan speed? (any link in the control panel ??)
Chances are you will not be able to change the speed of your fan.
Highly unlikely.
If your laptop is not overheating your fan is working fine it turns on when your laptop gets warm and shuts off when it isn’t. Keep it on hard flat surfaces. If you arn’t doing anything major taking your laptop to the extreme chances are your fan isn’t needing to kick on.
Laptops overheat easily even with good fans if used incorrectly.
They also shutdown when they do start to overheat.
If your laptop is running fine ..all day long its OK.
You’ve got a nice smart cool and quiet laptop this is one of the +’s of the laptop you purchased. Thats why you don’t hear your fan. Its perfectly capable of doing what it needs to do to not overheat..and thats shutdown incase it gets close to doing so.
If you did your warranty it should last for 3 years.

There is a program in testing for controlling thinkpad fans but it hasn’t been tested on your model and I wouldn’t recommend using it if you happen to find it.
