Laptop Fan Control Hp
My laptop doesn’t sleep when I close the lid?
When it was new it worked just fine but now it’s just annoying. If I close the lid, it SHOULD go to sleep and save power and the power light should blink. However, as of right now, if I close the lid, the screen, power, and fan stay on! If I manually press “sleep”, it returns me to the login screen and doesn’t sleep at all. The only solution I’ve found is to manually go and click on “Hibernate”
How do I fix it? I’m running Windows Vista on an HP Pavilion dv6000. So far, I’ve had no success in changing the power options in the control panel. I’ve set it to “Sleep when closed” and such but it doesn’t work still.
