Laptop External Speakers Usb
Question about USB Speakers?
My laptop is about a year old now. Unfortunately it’s not functioning perfectly anymore. The audio sounds just fine through the on-board speakers, but whenever I restart the laptop or sleep it, the external speakers (or headphones.. whatever is plugged into the jack) comes out scratchy.
It used to be that it was scratchy only for a little while and then it gets better.
Now it’s taking longer to get back to normal…
If I got USB speakers, would it be fine?
Before buying USB speakers, try to update your audio drivers.
It also happens that the motherboard does not recognize anymore some PCI cards after the sleep mode. So, deactive the idle mode of your audio device while sleep mode. (in the control panel).
I have never try usb speakers, but I’m sure the problem does not come from your jack speakers. Maybe from the jack output of the motherboard but if you say it works fine when the computer just starts, it is a software problem and not a hardware problem. Even by using USB speackers, the problem won’t be fix.
